Would you like your customers to be able to trigger automated orders via IoT devices (sensors, counting scales, material dispensing systems, dash buttons, etc.) or are you planning to develop your own application (app, web, AI, etc.) to trigger procurement processes? With the headless rule engine module, your customers can independently configure ordering systems and transmit the order requests to the webshop and ERP or merchandise management system. Manual checkout by a buyer in the shop is no longer necessary.
With the headless rule engine add-on module, all data and functions can be used via interfaces (API), independently of the shop's own front end (head). For example, external devices and applications can be connected to your webshop and orders can be executed. The downstream order processes are defined by processing rules.
A processing rule defines the action with which order requests from devices and applications are executed in the online shop. The processing rule defines , for example, the billing and delivery address as well as the shipping and payment method. You can also define whether the order is generated directly or whether the items in the order list are only placed in the shopping cart.
